Creating introspective, vulnerable music to inspire acceptance in heartbreak.
For years I believed that a career in music was only possible for those ‘special’ talents, but that changed after a 4 day, 65 kilometer solo pilgrimage hike through the mountains of Japan left me too tired to care who heard me sing. Three curious new friends asked, and I answered with ‘I’m Yours’ by Jason Mraz. The applause of the 15 or so eavesdroppers in that tiny mountain hostel was the moment that I realized just how much performing music meant to me.
I write about my emotions, and find a sonic home in fingerstyle guitar, layered vocal harmonies, and a rounded, soothing sound design that can be both electronic and organic. When writing, I focus on intimate moments and visual storytelling to paint you a picture, and bring it to life with the trademark high, pure tenor voice I have spent my entire life building.
Since my first EP, A through Z, in August of 2022, and subsequent singles Let Her Lead and The Death of Me a little over a year later, and primarily thanks to YOU, I've been able to reach over a hundred thousand streams on services such as Spotify and Apple Music, played live shows in musical hubs New York City and Philadelphia, and, hopefully, brought a little more peace and harmony to a chaotic world.
